There are many English speaking clubs, organizations, agencies, and representatives in Hamburg. Many of these organizations can help you keep up your ability to speak English, and most offer opportunities to meet new people. Their members have knowledge of the city that could prove invaluable in helping you get settled, make friends, and feel comfortable in Hamburg.

Moving to Germany doesn't mean giving up all of your English-language entertainment. There are several places where you can see theater and films in English, a few places that rent videos in English, and the possibility of buying satellite access to English-language TV stations. And Hamburg even has a talk radio station in English!

For Jewish information in the White Pages, look under Jüdische Gemeinde (Jewish Community Center) or Synagoge (Synagogues).
